Shine approached Watermark Creative to create a large format image of text made of delicious Hokey Pokey flavour ice cream for Tip Top in New Zealand. The text had to look as realistic as possible so Courtney Hopkinson stepped up to create the characters in 3D.
The text was blocked in Cinema 4D before moving into ZBrush for high resolution sculpting. Ice cream elements were also 3D scanned and incorporated into the digital sculpting for more realism.
The lighting, texturing and rendering was developed using Octane Render in C4D.
The final image delivered with each character separate to allow for total flexibility when outputting at different formats
